FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta and FISIP Universitas Lampung Expand Academic Collaboration in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education

Yogyakarta, November 3, 2025 — The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta strengthened its partnership with the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Universitas Lampung (UNILA) through the signing of an extended Cooperation Agreement (PKS) held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the Agus Salim Building, FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta.

The delegation from FISIP Universitas Lampung included Prof. Anna Gustina Zainal (Dean), Prof. Noverman Duadji (Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Cooperation), Prof. Bambang Utoyo (Department of Public Administration), and Dr. Ibrahim Besar (Head of Diploma Program in Public Relations).

Previously, both faculties had established collaboration, particularly between the Business Administration Study Program of FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta and FISIP Universitas Lampung. The new agreement expands the partnership to cover all study programs within FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, including International Relations, Communication Science, and Public Relations.

In his remarks, the Dean of FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta expressed appreciation for the continuation of this partnership and reaffirmed the faculty’s commitment to strengthening collaboration across all areas of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely education, research, and community service.

“We warmly welcome this renewed collaboration. By expanding our cooperation to include all study programs, we hope to create more diverse and impactful joint activities that will benefit both our academic communities and the wider society,” said the Dean of FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta.

The signing ceremony took place in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere. Both faculties are committed to implementing a range of joint programs, including faculty and student exchanges, collaborative research, academic seminars, and community engagement initiatives.

Through this partnership, FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta reaffirms its dedication to building academic collaboration and innovation toward achieving higher education that is excellent, adaptive, and character-driven in the era of globalization.
